Think we used up all our luck in 2025 to get a wonderful ID that saved us so much headache in a not-so-good year.
Ruvy was the first ever ID we spoke with and out of the 10 or so IDs we later spoke with, we eventually went back and signed with her. She is very experienced, super resourceful and definitely loves and takes pride in what she does. This was a perfect match for us as we were entirely inexperienced home owners, she gave very useful and helpful suggestions and alternatives when challenges inadvertently occurred. We dont take this for granted as she could have ripped us off with expensive but unnecessary suggestions and we'd have taken it, but she finds so much pride in her profession and the relationship with her clients, that she always gives genuine and helpful advice aligned to our interests.
Her aesthetic eye is also tasteful and adjusted to us, to the point that when she first suggest something and I may be skeptical, the result would eventually turn out beautifully. We are very happy with how the house turned out, and the bold and artistic choices she made for us. The last thing we wanted was a template Singaporean house and she delivered such a warm, unique and in-character house for us.
Would highly recommend Ruvy and ABCD especially if you want a fuss-free experience working with a genuine, capable and experienced ID.

It was never easy when comes to home renovation. I just want to compliment about Ruveena from ABCD my ID for our house. We went to look for about 20 Singapore ID company’s but yet to find something suitable until we found ABCD. We went through her instagram and saw many beautiful designs . Read some review about ruveena and the company before engaging them. I’m a fussy person or I can say OCD. Abit also cannot. Ruveena is very experience, patient, detail & most importantly a genuine person. She spend about 3hour + each appointment just to go through her proposal with me before we decided to engage her service. To my surprise she done all the detail drawing every part of the house and 3D rendering by herself. She gave me a few option as I’m tight in my budget at the same time I want something unique yet don’t go over my budget. I told her that I engage a Feng shui master and he mention that My theme of the house is mainly green for my style of living. She provides value for money design and ideas yet unique in a way.
As a matter of fact, due to Ruveena input, Our house came out to be so much in style and sophistication which we can never imagine if we were to choose on ourselves. This is where we see the proactive traits of a successful Interior Designer.
During the renovation process, Ruveena will always keep us updated with the progress as well as the timeline on each and every work being done and even go extra miles for furniture, lightning & tiles shopping with us. Everything is well organised
Even till post-renovation stage, whenever there are minor things to be followed up, Ruveena has always been so ready and accommodating to us.

We engaged Ruveena and Jessie from ABCD to design our home, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Before meeting them, we had spoken to two other designers, but with Ruveena and Jessie, we instantly formed a connection — their creativity, innovation, unique ideas, and empathy truly set them apart.
They understood our vision from the start, taking all our feedback on board and translating it beautifully into thoughtful, high-quality designs. When some of our ideas weren't practical, they offered smart, efficient alternatives that still stayed true to what we had envisioned — often improving it in ways we hadn’t even imagined.

We've had a wonderful experience with Ruveena K Mohan who we have known since 2020 when we first engaged her as our ID. We were looking for someone who would have a keen eye for aesthetics but at the same time, understand our needs to make our house safe for children and our pet. She understood our vision perfectly and was able to put it together in a short space of time.
She was very vested throughout the process and we liked the fact that she was able to bring suggestions to the table while also being able to go with our ideas.
What I personally valued a lot is that she was not lying about the cost of the material she would be using and that she was showing us options and explained the pros and cons of each in detail. I appreciated that immensely because that way, we could make an informed choice on what were ok to spend on, rather than just going by "looks" (which is the experience we had with other IDs).
I would always recommend Ruveena for her hard work ethic and her love for her work!

We would like to acknowledge, and thank, Ruveena for the exemplary professional services. Being first-time renovators, and with the numerous horror stories of home-renovation doing the rounds on the net, we had great trepidations with regards to how our planned reno would pan out. We had the good fortune of finding her via Qanvast.
Our good fortune was compounded when we had our designer (and now friend) Ruveena assigned to our project. We found in Ruveena a resolute professional - One for whom, no design request was too small, or too big, or too last minute, or too ...odd. All of our requests - ranging from change in living room wall features, to last minute changes in kitchen tiles' design/ toilet pipe colours/ taking down of partition walls followed by installation of new wardrobes (midway thru the project!), were met with nuanced suggestions and tweaks that made the changes possible, yet kept our expectations realistic - and economically feasible.
Ruveena is a gifted and resourceful designer, and devoted believer and advocate of interior design.

We were happy to meet Ruveena, a friendly designer that communicates well with us. We were happy with her ideas and drawings and it meets my expectations of a good and practical design. Ruveena has been very helpful in shortlisting materials, colours and ideas for us.
The renovation started after we obtained our keys at end of the year. It took a while but everything was planned properly and progress was rapid in January before Chinese New Year break and then the renovation was completed the week before we move in. She assisted with delivery arrangements and managed to resolve renovation issues as and when we encounter them. Ruveena has also helped us when we needed to change items purchased and also replaced imperfect material/work for free. To me, this represents due care and good service.
I think we have a lot more positives than negatives during the renovation process and we are enjoying our new home now. Overall I am very happy with the service and friendship gained during this journey.

Ruveena was part of three designers that we met during the initial stages of finding a designer. From the outset Ruveena came across as being very professional, was keen to understand more about our family and home settings as part of her design process. We found that of all the designers we spoke with Ruveena was the only one who understood that we were looking for quality and were willing to pay for it and needed a child-safe and practical house.
Along the design process, Ruveena had great ideas, could give us a balanced view on what we wanted to do and propose alternatives. We liked the fact that she was not interested in providing the cheapest quote to win the business.
During the course of the renovation, she kept us posted on the progress regularly, was quick to update us on any issues and how she was going to manage the situation and delivered everything she promised on time. She helped coordinate the workers coming in to do any touch-ups post moving in as we moved in Phase 2 HA at this point.
Above and beyond, Ruveena came across as being very credible and someone that we could trust to have our best interest at heart. I would definitely recommend Ruveena to anyone looking to renovate.
